The Apostrophe has two main jobs in the world of grammar: 1.  To indicate possession or ownership. Examples:  The man’s car was parked next to a fire hydrant.          The teachers’ desks needed to be dusted.

1. “I” is only used when you are the subject of the sentence; in other words, you are the one taking the action. Example: I went to school on the bus. People sometimes get confused about using I or me
