The cost of $110 covers a coach bus, and an excellent seat in the theatre. All money and permission forms should be in to the school by October 24th.

Winterlude Cultural Experience

Winterlude cultural experienceBayside students enjoyed the cultural experience on Thursday, Feb. 6th of Winterlude, Skating on the Rideau Canal and taking in an Ottawa Senators Game.  The Senators defeated the Sabres by a score of 3-2 with the winning goal coming late in the third period by Michalek assisted by Spezza.  A great time was had by all.  Special thanks to our organizers and chaperones, Ms. Bateman, Ms. Young and Ms. King.

Romeo and Juliet Trip

A 400 year old play that still sells out a full busload of Bayside Students in a week and a half? It's true! On Friday, May 3rd, 53 Bayside students along with Mr. Reid and Ms. Richmond will take in The Classical Theatre Project's Romeo and Juliet.  Usually set in Verona, the CTP version takes place in an Elizabethan marketplace.  The actors will also offer a "talkback" session that explores the play's transition from page to stage. Our students are excited to see Shakespeare reinvented and spend a bit of time in Toronto during the afternoon.  Students may arrive to the school at the regular time on the bus, however, we will be returning to Bayside around 7:00pm so rides will need to be arranged that evening.
